Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data OneCiak ("we," "our") collects when you use oneciak.com, why we collect it, and who we share it with. OneCiak does not require an account or login — most of what we collect is tied to a single analysis session, not a persistent profile.
1. What we collect
- Project details you submit — title, logline, genre, format, budget, target audience, distribution goal, production country, director experience, and any optional notes you enter to generate a report.
- Email address — collected by Stripe during checkout when you purchase the full report (€29), used solely to deliver your report and payment receipt.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number; we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded.
- Basic technical data — your IP address is processed transiently by our hosting provider (Netlify) and rate-limiting system to prevent abuse of the free tier, and by Google Fonts when loading our typeface.
2. How we use it
- Your project details are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your AI market analysis.
- If you purchase the full report, your email is used by Resend (our email provider) to deliver the report to your inbox, and the generated report is temporarily stored (via Netlify Blobs) keyed to your Stripe checkout session, so it can be re-displayed if you return to the page or the report needs to be resent.
- We do not use your data to train AI models, and we do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Third-party processors
We rely on the following services to operate OneCiak. Each processes a limited slice of your data solely to perform its function:
- Stripe — payment processing and checkout (collects email, billing/payment details)
- Anthropic — generates the AI analysis from your submitted project details
- Resend — sends the full report email
- Netlify — hosting, serverless functions, and temporary data storage
- Google Fonts — loads the site's typeface
4. Cookies & tracking
OneCiak does not use analytics or advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party trackers. We don't currently measure site traffic beyond a simple internal count of reports generated.
5. Data retention
Free-tier analyses are not stored after being returned to your browser. Full reports linked to a completed Stripe purchase are retained so they remain accessible if you return to the page or need it re-sent. You can request deletion at any time — see Section 6.
6. Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right under GDPR to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@oneciak.com and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Children
OneCiak is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect data from, individuals under 16.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
